The Sword and the Sorcerer (directed by Albert Pyun) was one of the best cult fantasy movies of the early 80's and is still a firm favourite today. The novelisation is recommended to all fans of the movie as it delves deeper into the story than the movie ever could, fleshing out the characters, adding scenes and generally making things clearer than they /5(8).

It really is not a very well written book but it was sword and the sorcerer book fun film. Cromwell of Aragon awakens an ancient sorcerer to use to usurp a throne and then betrays the sorcerer.
